Savastano's article presents a compelling position regarding religion, mostly in the contemporary world. After reading the article, I was convinced that churches play a critical role in establishing and sustaining social principles as well as guiding the interaction between human beings and God. I feel that the article has timely addressed the importance of tolerance in religion and other diversities that exist between different communities. For example, African religion is characterized by history, beliefs, faith groups, and a high degree of religiosity. Savastano’s article has a strong foundation and cogent arguments which are vital for readers such as students, philosophers, and religious fanatics.

Before delving deeper into the reading, I though Savastano’s article is one of those that present ideological diversity among communities and assimilation of religious beliefs.
