Rationale:
In 1943 a series of
conflict called the Zoot Suit Riots occurred in the United States. The Mexican
American youths and other minority groups who wore zoot suits fought against
the European American servicemen. I will use this reference to find the answer
to my question because it is resourceful in issues that involve the chronicles
of Black History in the United States. After discovering the role played by
African American activists in the riots, I would go ahead and use this book as
my source because it focuses on the part played by Black people in the shaping
the American history.
