A desirable learning environment should be capable of proving the learner with sufficient learning resources, beautiful sceneries, and most importantly, an academic support team comprised of skilled tutors to make learning a fulfilling experience. Queen College is a center of excellence committed to providing the students with all complements focused on preparing the learners in becoming influential citizens to pull the educational and economic agenda to the next level within the increasingly competitive global society. For the last couple of decades, the college has produced famous figures in the community such as Desiderius Erasmus (Scholar), Michael Foale (Astronaut), Robert Chote (Economist), just to name a few. This commitment makes Queens College a place of choice for academic development, therefore, I have chosen this college to further my education in Speech-language pathology.

First, I have decided to join Queens College due to the tranquility of the learning environment that creates a chance of improving the frontiers of knowledge. Besides, the college is endowed with sufficient resources within the learning environment that can enhance research in different majors. These resources will be vital in promoting my academic scope in Speech-language pathology as I broaden my knowledge of the field and to positively affect the lives of the children. In addition, the college is located in the borough of Queens which is ethnically diverse giving me a chance to interact with students from various cultures and societal beliefs.

Furthermore, the campus provides the learners with a right mix of skilled teaching and non-teaching staffs that make learner’s experience worthwhile. The ability to learn is significantly influenced by the skills of the tutor to dispense and professionally impact up-to-date knowledge creating a positive impact on the students.
