My Career Path

If I had a career, I would be an Information Security Analyst. In the contemporary world, there are increased cases of information security issues during online transactions, online communication, and most importantly, in the online storage of information by companies. About 65% of all activities conducted by millennials revolves around using internet which exposes them to cybersecurity threats. Furthermore, companies story proprietary information on online platforms, and if the competitors can access such data, it would be very detrimental to the competitiveness of the firm that owns the data. Therefore, I would engage in Information Security Analyst, first to solve such issues, and secondly because it is my passion.

An incident occurred in an organization that I was working with as an intern. It happened that the firm had not implemented modern and sophisticated data protection firewalls and software which led to the tapping of vital information regarding some internal operations. The hacker used the information to manufacture products similar to the ones made by the company where I was working.
