Perform an analysis on the acoustical design and construction within your COVID workspace (your room, office, etc.). Consider both visual and hidden elements (i.e. inside the walls, finishes, or the wall construction itself.) Identify 3 realistic design solutions that could be implemented to improve the overall acoustical quality in your space. Provide a detailed explanation of the material or design strategy, perform a constructability analysis on how each of these solutions could be retrofit into the space, and explain how each solution improves the acoustical quality of the space. Complete a case study that includes: An analysis on the current conditions in the space. (1-2 paragraphs), An in depth dive into potential design changes and a constructability analysis of those solutions. (4-5 paragraphs). Include an appendix in this case study that includes product submittals for any selected acoustic products or solutions where applicable.
