Current Events: If possible,  you  should  read  the  Wall  Street  Journal  (or  other  publication)  occasionally  during  this course. This is because there is always so much going on concerning financial institutions in particular and  finance  in  general.   I encourage you to make  the  class  aware  of  relevant  articles  from  the  Journal or  other  business publications or sources.     What sort of article?  It would be best  if  it related  to  financial  institutions,  but  anything  finance-related is acceptable.   What sort of summary?  1-2 paragraphs summarizing the article and highlighting its relationship  to specific topics we discussed  in  class  or  other  finance  topics.  Be sure to give citation  information.
